Ageing Wisely is a cognitive behavioural therapy program for older adults living in the community with anxiety and/or depression.
Suitable for adults aged 60 years+.
Training in the Ageing Wisely program is strongly recommended. If you are a health professional and wish to deliver this program, please check that you meet the minimum qualification requirements. The therapist kit includes:
• 1 x Ageing Wisely Individual or Group Therapy Client Workbook
• 1 x Ageing Wisely Therapist Manual
• (Note: The therapist manual covers the delivery of all versions of the Ageing Wisely Suite of programs).
The therapist’s manual describes in detail the rationale for each skill covered in the Ageing Wisely program, how to help clients develop and practise the skills, including exercises and tips to assist successful skill implementation.
